Patriotic - Disney Style

I was at Disneyland the last few days of June and caught some of the special holiday decor! I also was lucky enough to catch the Flag Retreat Ceremony which was cool! I really love working with the July 4th - Independence Day scrapbooking stuff. Red white and blue always look so nice together! And I have a lot of stickers and other embellishments for it.

Ok - because I want the top ten of 2009 to be in the past where they belong they are all going together here!

Number 6 - A New Hope

I really liked this sticker I got during the campaign and wanted to use it for a layout. And even though the Obama administration has not been as exciting as I had hoped it would be, I still love the layout!

Number 5 - I Heart Big Thunder

I love this Basic Grey Dino paper and I have used it on two Big Thunder Mountain Railroad layouts. I like this one because I used the paint dots to jazz up the BG stickers. I think it looks cool! :)

Number 4 - Candy Corn Acres - DCA

This one has a Haiku for the journaling. I love the blue background with the orange here.

Number 3 - McQueen and Mater

I loved being able to use the Route 66 Stickers and the car border is just so cute!

Number 2 - Jungle Cruise

This is probably one of my all time favorites. I love the vintage outdoor look this has. The colors go so well with the photos. I also got to use charms on this one as well.

Number 1 - Mobbed

Seriously love this layout. Like the colors and the photo but especially the journaling.

So that's the collection! Yay!

Obviously I am not meant to be a daily blogger. Or a weekly Blogger. Or a monthly Blogger. Anyway - I am going to TRY to get some more of my scrappbooking stuff up here. We'll see how that goes.

Lucky Number 7

My number 7 layout for 2009 was inspired by an orangina poster! I'm a Disney Chick - what else am I gonna do? :)

Number eight on my top ten of 2009 is Pixar Play Parade. This is a size I don't usually work with - it's 12x12 and I usually do 8.5x11. I love all the photos I got on this layout and I think it really gives a sense of the parade moving down the street. Plus I got to use my really cute 3-D Pixar stickers!

Ugh! It's not procrastination - it's age.

Ok, I completely forgot to come back and finish posting my top ten even though I thought about it during the day on Saturday and Sunday. I need reminders for everything these days! So, tied for 9th place on the list:

Sleeping Beauty - This one is posted below but I feel like it's one of my best this year. I kinda like the funny beauty sleep embellishment and of course pink is my favorite!

Presents - This one is from Christmas 2008. I went to Salt Lake City for the family party and saw relatives I have not seen for years! I think I got a nice amount of pictures on this one and I especially love the Santa sticker!

Top Ten Layouts of 2009

I did more scrapbooking this year than I have in the last few years and I don't mean to brag but I did some pretty kick ass layouts! So I am going to post my top ten here. Only I have 12 so... tied for tenth are:

Haunted Mansion - I really like the way this turned out and how many photos I was able to fit on it! I always love when I can use a charm on a layout. The journaling says October 2009 but this is really from 2007 - I corrected it on the actual layout but didn't bother to rescan.

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters - Notice my low score on the game - I never get a good score but I have a lot of fun! I was really happy with the color combos on this one. Sometimes the printed paper greens don't always look good with the greens in the photos. I am happy with this one though and I especially like the space stickers - another plus is they were on clearance! I always love a bargain! :)
